Windham-Raymond Middle School

The new 260,000-SF Windham-Raymond Middle School, the largest school ever constructed in Maine, will set a new benchmark for educational facilities in the state. Designed to unify students from Windham and Raymond in Grades 5 through 8, the school will provide dynamic, student-centered learning environments that support collaboration, flexibility, and innovation.

The facility will feature a wide range of academic, athletic, and community-focused spaces, including a 600-seat auditorium, multiple meeting and presentation areas, two gymnasiums, and an indoor elevated track. Two existing middle schools will be repurposed as community centers, extending the project’s impact beyond the classroom. Scheduled to open in Fall 2027, the Windham-Raymond Middle School will serve as a hub for education and community engagement, designed to support both current needs and future growth.
