Kevin’s entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude have been instrumental in his rise through the ranks at various companies throughout his career in commercial construction.

In 2010, veteran contractors Denis Landry and Kevin French joined forces to establish Landry/French Construction.

Having gained extensive experience from their years with national construction firms, as well as their deep roots in the Maine market, the two tapped an extensive list of long-standing clients and former employees with national experience.

Early in his career, Kevin served as Director of Business Development for PC Construction, formerly known as Pizzagalli Construction, and started their Maine office. It was in this role where Kevin built strong relationships and network of clients, many of whom have followed him throughout his career. He later went on to purchase a Maine-based construction company where, under his leadership, he expanded the company’s portfolio by taking on larger, more technically challenging projects.

As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Landry/French, Kevin is responsible for strategic planning, company vision, business growth and talent acquisition. His success is attributed to his passion for building lasting relationships, empowering team members, and inspiring a culture of continuous improvement. Under his leadership, the company’s upward trajectory earned Landry/French a spot on the Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies in the country in 2016 and 2015.

Denis Garriepy

Denis Garriepy

Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer at Landry/French, Denis Garriepy is responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations and providing leadership to ensure the operating requirements and financial goals are met. Denis possesses a wealth of knowledge in the construction industry and brings a solution-centered mindset.

Before joining Landry/French, Denis spent nearly a decade at Suffolk Construction in Boston as Vice President of Operations. At Suffolk, he oversaw large-scale education, healthcare, and life-sciences projects, including Northeastern University’s $330 million EXP facility and major capital projects for Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, and Boston Medical Center.

Denis has a Master of Science in Construction Management from Northeastern University’s Graduate School of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan.

Mason Rowell

Mason Rowell

Senior Vice President of Operations

As Senior Vice President of Operations at Landry/French Construction, Mason Rowell provides leadership across the firm’s operations, supporting projects from inception through completion. In this role, Mason also continues to lead the preconstruction and estimating department, ensuring alignment and continuity across all phases of project delivery.

Mason joined Landry/French in 2011 as an Assistant Project Manager and has advanced through progressively senior roles, including Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Director of Preconstruction, and Vice President of Preconstruction. His experience spans preconstruction planning, operations, and team leadership, with a focus on delivering complex projects efficiently and collaboratively.

Mason holds a Master of Science in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology and served as a Captain in the United States Army Corps of Engineers. He currently serves on the board of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Maine.

Scott Hutchison

Regional Executive Vice President, Southeast

As Regional Executive Vice President, Southeast, at Landry/French Construction, Scott Hutchison is responsible for leading the firm’s growth and operations throughout Florida and the broader Southeast. Scott provides regional leadership to support business development, client relationships, and project delivery while leading a strong local team.

Scott brings more than 30 years of construction industry experience, having progressed from the field into executive leadership roles overseeing regional operations and complex project delivery. His background spans healthcare and commercial construction, with recent project experience including ground-up cancer treatment facilities and medical office buildings across Florida, as well as high-profile commercial projects such as a luxury retail flagship in Miami and a major event center in Tampa.
