Kevin French
Chairman, Chief Executive Officer
Kevin French serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Landry/French Construction and MH Williams Construction Group and brings more than 40 years of experience in the construction industry.
In 2010, Kevin co-founded Landry/French Construction, a full-service commercial construction firm providing construction management, design/build, and general contracting services throughout Maine and the Northeast. Under his leadership, Landry/French has grown into one of the largest construction firms in Northern New England, earning national recognition with inclusion on the Engineering News Record’s (ENR) Top 400 Contractors list. The firm has also been named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies four times. In 2016, Kevin transitioned the company to a 100% employee stock ownership plan (ESOP).
In 2024, Kevin led the expansion of Landry/French’s geographic footprint through the acquisition of Melbourne, Florida-based MH Williams Construction. In 2025, the company further strengthened its presence in Florida with the opening of a St. Petersburg office, underscoring Kevin’s long-term vision for strategic growth and continued investment in high-quality construction services.
Kevin serves as a Trustee on the Board of Governors for the St. Petersburg Economic Development Corporation.
Denis Garriepy
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer at Landry/French, Denis Garriepy is responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations and providing leadership to ensure the operating requirements and financial goals are met. Denis possesses a wealth of knowledge in the construction industry and brings a solution-centered mindset.
Before joining Landry/French, Denis spent nearly a decade at Suffolk Construction in Boston as Vice President of Operations. At Suffolk, he oversaw large-scale education, healthcare, and life-sciences projects, including Northeastern University’s $330 million EXP facility and major capital projects for Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, and Boston Medical Center.
Denis has a Master of Science in Construction Management from Northeastern University’s Graduate School of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan.
Mason Rowell
Senior Vice President of Operations
As Senior Vice President of Operations at Landry/French Construction, Mason Rowell provides leadership across the firm’s operations, supporting projects from inception through completion. In this role, Mason also continues to lead the preconstruction and estimating department, ensuring alignment and continuity across all phases of project delivery.
Mason joined Landry/French in 2011 as an Assistant Project Manager and has advanced through progressively senior roles, including Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Director of Preconstruction, and Vice President of Preconstruction. His experience spans preconstruction planning, operations, and team leadership, with a focus on delivering complex projects efficiently and collaboratively.
Mason holds a Master of Science in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology and served as a Captain in the United States Army Corps of Engineers. He currently serves on the board of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Maine.
Scott Hutchison
Regional Executive Vice President, Southeast
As Regional Executive Vice President, Southeast, at Landry/French Construction, Scott Hutchison is responsible for leading the firm’s growth and operations throughout Florida and the broader Southeast. Scott provides regional leadership to support business development, client relationships, and project delivery while leading a strong local team.
Scott brings more than 30 years of construction industry experience, having progressed from the field into executive leadership roles overseeing regional operations and complex project delivery. His background spans healthcare and commercial construction, with recent project experience including ground-up cancer treatment facilities and medical office buildings across Florida, as well as high-profile commercial projects such as a luxury retail flagship in Miami and a major event center in Tampa.
