This new 37,240-square-foot, two-bay paint preparation facility was constructed at Embraer’s Melbourne campus to support aircraft finishing operations for the Phenom 100/300 and Praetor 500/600 airframes. Designed to accommodate multiple aircraft platforms, the facility enhances Embraer’s operational capabilities through efficient paint preparation workflows and flexible aircraft handling space.
The facility was developed to support high-performance aviation manufacturing standards and includes specialized infrastructure and systems necessary for aircraft preparation operations. The two-bay configuration allows for simultaneous aircraft processing while maintaining operational efficiency and workflow coordination within the active campus environment.
Constructed within an operational aerospace manufacturing campus, the project required careful coordination, safety planning, and scheduling to minimize disruption to ongoing operations while maintaining strict quality and performance standards.
Project completed by MH Williams Construction, a Landry/French company.
