Ogunquit Municipal Campus

Landry/French Construction provided Construction Management services for the new Ogunquit Town Hall/Police Station and the renovation of the adjacent Dunaway Community Center. The project spans three phases and includes a new four-story, 20,000-SF municipal building and the renovation of 14,260 square feet within the existing community center. Site improvements to the courtyard connecting the two buildings include new pathways, ramps, stairs, playgrounds, and a basketball court.

Designed by Port City Architecture, the new Town Hall/Police Station reflects the architectural character of the former Ogunquit Village School, which once occupied the site. The building features precast concrete panels, Hardiplank siding, Marvin fiberglass windows, and an asphalt shingle roof. Its structure consists of prefabricated Z-panels, wood stud walls, and wood trusses, with separate secure entrances for Town Hall and Police functions.

The lower level (6,000 SF) is fully dedicated to police operations and includes two evidence bays, a sallyport, evidence storage, interview and holding rooms, processing, a ready room, weapon cleaning room, armory, and fitness room. The first-floor police area (3,000 SF) houses a secure public lobby, administrative offices, training and conference rooms, interview space, breakroom, and sleeping quarters. The second floor includes the patrol room, sergeants’ offices, detective office, storage, and locker rooms.

The Town Hall occupies 3,000 SF on the first floor and includes the Town Clerk’s office with a public service counter, a town vault, Code Enforcement and Assessor’s offices, conference rooms, and public restrooms. The second floor contains offices for the Town Manager and administration, along with additional conference space, records storage, and a kitchen. A 2,000-SF attic provides supplemental storage for the building.

With construction occurring on an active campus, Landry/French closely coordinated with municipal and fire department staff to ensure uninterrupted operations. Groundbreaking took place in October 2024, with the new building completed in November 2025. Renovations to the Dunaway Community Center and courtyard improvements were completed by January 2026.
