Located at Thompson’s Point on a 30-acre former industrial site, the historic “Brick North” building was completely transformed and is now home to Bissell Brothers, one Maine’s most popular small craft breweries.
The industrial space with soaring ceilings and brightly painted graffiti-splashed walls is now the largest tasting room in Maine. The new space allows a significant increase in production capacity, larger tasting room, and more retail space than Bissell Brothers previous location.
Left vacant for several years, the building had deteriorated significantly and required major structural reinforcement and repairs, reinforcement and replacement of the roof, all new sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems, and new finishes throughout.
