Landry/French Welcomes Derek Converse as Director of Preconstruction
Landry/French Construction, one of Northern New England’s leading construction management firms, is pleased to announce the hiring of Derek Converse, Director of Preconstruction.
Converse brings over 30 years of experience in commercial construction, including serving as Director of Preconstruction for the past 12 years. Throughout his career, he has worked in various roles, including Project Manager, Estimator, and Preconstruction Manager, giving him a well-rounded perspective on project delivery. His expertise spans a wide range of sectors, including academic, institutional, commercial, residential, hospitality, and historic projects.
As Director of Preconstruction, Converse will oversee and expand Landry/French Construction’s preconstruction and estimating services, focusing on early project planning, cost management, and collaboration to deliver accurate and reliable budgets aligned with client expectations.

Converse has a Civil Engineering Degree from the University of Illinois and a Master’s in Construction Management from Purdue University.
