Memorial Hospital and Landry/French Celebrate Groundbreaking of New Adult Day Center

Landry/French Construction joined Memorial Hospital in a groundbreaking ceremony on June 4th for a new Adult Day Center.

Located on East Main Street (Route 113) in Conway, the new 14,000-SF Center will provide respite to caregivers of those with memory loss or other cognitive or physical impairments in a safe, home-like environment.  Services will include memory care services, therapeutic and recreational activities, health monitoring, art and music therapy, socialization, and assistance with personal care and bathing. The facility will feature a fully equipped exercise and examination rooms, a spa with salon and massage fixtures, a quiet library reading room, porch, solarium, a café and dining rooms, and administration and conference areas.

Over 70 people including representatives of the state’s congressional delegation and Gov. Chris Sununu’s Office attended the ceremony for the new facility. The project is a collaboration between Memorial Hospital’s Memorial Elder Health Services subsidiary and the Betty C. Ketchum Foundation.

Designed by SMRT of Portland, Maine, the Adult Day Center is slated to open June 2019.
