York County Substance Use Treatment and Recover Center | First Responder Training Center

The new York County Substance Use Treatment and Recovery Center will provide a combination of detox, short and long-term care, and the First Responder Training Center will prepare residents working in law enforcement and emergency medical services related fields.

Funded by ARPA, the $35M project includes a 58-bed, 50,000-SF Substance Use Treatment and Recovery Center and a 40,000-SF First Responder Training Center on County-owned land in Alfred, Maine. Both buildings will be built concurrently beginning in the fall of 2024 with completion in the winter of 2026.
