Landry/French Completes State-of-the-Art VA Outpatient Clinic
Landry/French Construction, one of Northern New England’s largest Construction Management firms, announces the completion of the new VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Portland.
The new 68,000-SF facility, located at 141 West Commercial Street, consolidates former clinics in Portland and Saco and provides increased access to a core set of services and additional specialty care in the Southern part of Maine. Services include Primary Care, Mental Health, Surgical and Medicine Specialty services, Dental, Eye, Audiology, Physical Therapy, Prosthetics Support, Phlebotomy Lab, Radiology, and Telehealth. The new outpatient clinic also serves as a teaching site with space dedicated to enhancing affiliate relationships with Tufts Medical School and Maine Medical Center.
An adjacent 385-space parking garage is located on site for veteran parking, and a 150-space surface parking lot for staff. A solar array of 1,512 panels on the parking garage provide 100% of the clinic’s energy.
The new clinic serves as a model for other clinics around the country and will provide services to more than 100,000 Maine veterans.
