Construction Begins on Yarmouth's New Public Safety Building
Landry/French Construction recently mobilized on a new Public Safety Building for the Town of Yarmouth.
Located on the site of the Central Fire Station on North Road, the new 27,000-SF combined public safety building will replace the outdated fire and police facilities. The police department space will include offices, evidence processing and storage, an armory, patrol room, and separate entrance for those in custody. The fire department amenities will include administrative offices, five apparatus bays, a decontamination room, much-needed bunk rooms and a day room. Shared spaces will include a reception lobby, fitness center and training room.
Designed by Port City Architecture, construction of the new facility is expected to be completed Spring 2021.
