Landry/French Construction joined the Town of Scarborough in an official groundbreaking ceremony for its new public safety building.
The event was held on November 8th at the site of the new facility, located on town-owned land adjacent to the Town Hall and bordered by US Route 1 and Sawyer Road.
The new 53,000-square-foot combined police and fire station building, designed by Context Architecture of Boston, will accommodate current public safety needs and anticipate community and staffing growth through 2041.
The new facility is slated to be completed in spring of 2020.
