Landry/French Completes Two New Senior Living Facilities
Landry/French Construction Company recently completed construction of two new memory care communities.
Avita of Brunswick
Avita of Wells, located at 86 Sanford Road adjacent to York Hospital, and Avita of Brunswick, located at 89 Admiral Fitch Avenue, recently opened to the public. Each 45,000-SF facility includes 60 state-of-the-art, assisted living apartments. The private and semi-private apartments are in a separate and secured environment to support residents with Alzheimer’s and other memory impairments. Amenities at each facility include common dining room, private dining area for family gatherings, internet café, game rooms, hair salon, sunrooms and sun porches, and secure courtyards with sensory, mediation and working gardens.
Designed by Gawron Turgeon Architects of Scarborough, the two projects were developed by Northbridge Companies of Burlington, MA and The Sandy River Company of Portland, ME. Landry/French Construction served as Construction Manager.
