Construction Management

Landry/French strongly believes that Construction Management is the best way to approach a building project. Currently, 70% of our projects are delivered using the Construction Management approach. Through this process, the designer and owner form a collaborative team that is managed by Landry/French. Clients are assured the best price because much of the work is competitively bid to a select list of pre-qualified subcontractors. These are firms who Landry/French has worked with in the past and have proven their reliability and dedication to high quality work.

Landry/French’s Design/Build Service involves forming a team with an architect who specializes in the proposed project type. The Landry/French Design/Build team will then carry out the work under a ‘”turn-key” agreement, assuming all of the risk and then turning the building over to the builder when it is move-in ready.

Design-Bid-Build or General Contracting

The Landry/French team also works under the traditional Design-Bid-Build method of general contracting in which the client hires an architect to handle the design and then bids the project to several qualified general contractors. Because of our long-standing working relationship with reliable subcontractors throughout Maine, Landry/French is able to provide a fair and competitive project price without sacrificing quality.
