As Project Manager you’ll be responsible for administrative, project management, and coordination of necessary resources and documentation to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the design, budget, schedule and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish overall project logistics and team goals
  • Assist with pre-construction efforts
  • Conduct project meetings and coordination meetings
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the construction schedule
  • Complete job processes (RFI’s, submittals, change orders, pay applications)
  • Ensure proper document control filing, updating, and distribution
  • Perform project scheduling updates
  • Ensure project quality control
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to site
  • Issue subcontractor contracts and purchase orders
  • Approve pay applications
  • Manage the closeout process
  • Project buy-out and scope development though subcontract award
  • Negotiate subcontract change orders
  • Develop and complete monthly cost reporting
  • Overall financial responsibility of project
  • Ensure that required documentation is filed including proper insurance certificates
  • Manage staff
  • Develop and maintain successful relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors and other team members

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ commercial construction experience on projects over $5 million
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
  • Thorough understanding of construction industry
  • Experience in the various phases of construction
  • Experience managing multiple projects and project teams
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent leadership, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated client relationship development skills
